A large cool growing Dendrobium from the Philippines. The canes of this species hold its leaves for two or three seasons.
The short inflorescence carries up to five 3.5” flowers which are pure white with a lime-green throat. They appear in spring and early summer from old and new canes, and quite often will flower a second time around autumn. They require water all year round, although this should be reduced slightly during the colder months. This species is suited to pot culture.
Specific Epithet : Deare’s Dendrobium. An English plant collector.
