A pretty little species from Nepal and China. It is a cool growing species which grows well in a pot or on a mount. The inflorescence appears in early to late spring with the new growth and carries about six 1” flowers of pure white. The lip is ochre yellow and marbled with brown markings. What the flower lacks in size is more than made up for in scent. A flowering plant can easily fill a greenhouse or room with it’s delightful scent. The plant should be grown cool and given a short rest in the winter time. The pseudobulbs of this species are shiny and packed close together.
