1. Phal Pantherina specie is endemic to Borneo and is found in my country.

2. This has been identified as cornucervi but I am not too sure as the differences is identified in the two lower sepals with a bordering line dividing the red spots. Also have shorter and fatter tepals.

3. Below, I need help to identify as it is yellow with the red spots recessing faintly into the tepals. This one is rare (now only 3 available)I am in a bidding war with my fellow enthusias. Wish me luck.

Hi George

Nice to see you on the forum again. The bottom photo looks like cornu-cervi, just a clonal variation. Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi and pantherina are now considered the same species under the name cornu-cervi.

Cheers
Trey

First flowering for this plant. Surprised to see it's yellow with blood-red spots rather than greenish with mahogony.

I'm afraid the quality of the photograph is poor. James, my two-year-old, got my camera and threw it, smashing the lens and ring flash, I now have to try and photograph with a 200 mm telephoto lens, hence my lack of photographs the last few months Evil or Very Mad
I'm pleased with the shape of the sepals/petals for a flower in this group.
Bill.

Exactly my same sentiments, Tom, but I was told in no uncertain terms that he wouldn't have room in his sack. I'm off to cry.
